Sports day this year will be on Wednesday 9th July.  The races will be based on the Olympics.  The session for that day will require all parents to join their children at 11.30am at the pre-school for the Sports Day. 

There will also be a leavers ceremony for everyone to attend after the sports day, so the children who are moving onto Primary School in September can collect there leavers folders and gifts, and to finish the day off please bring a picnic assuming the weather is good.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, donated prizes and baked so many lovely cakes on May 10th for the ‘Duck Fair’.  It was such a successful event raising over £600 which is so needed to help keep Puddleduck running. 

On behalf of Puddleduck a big thank you to our parent helper Tracey Elliott who organised the event and made it such a great success, along with everyone else who participated in helping on the day and the lovely weather, we were very lucky.

Friday 25th June, Puddleducks is having a coffee morning at the pre–school between 9-10 am.   There will a lady called Pam Holmes attending the morning to get views from parents to find out what facilities the new ’Cranbrook Child Centre’ should have.

The ‘Cranbrook Child Centre’ will be opening in September, and will be providing a wide range of services and classes, including baby check-ups, toddler groups, and antenatal classes.

Everyone is welcome to attend so please come along.

Thank you again for our £500 donation from the Kent and Sussex Lions club. Puddleduck has purchased some outdoor play equipment for the children including a trampoline, stilts and a new indoor mat for the show and tell area.

WANTED

If anyone has a bookcase that the children could use inside the playhouse in the home-corner, or if you have a vacuum cleaner that is in good working order and is no longer wanted, we would be very grateful of your donation.
